Color, shapes and composition are a constant inspiration as far as I can remember I have always drawn or painted. Some of my earliest works as a child are hidden inside on the pages of my parents old collectible books and much to my parents dismay, the elevator doors in the Manhattan building where I grew up. I was always drawn to representational work that connected my design and illustration roots and led me to explore a way of painting that is carefully composed, balanced, crisp, graphic, mostly representational, sometimes surreal or abstract, but I always attempt to convey something visually rich.
